Presentation Highlights from CPG Meeting: Nature and Autistic Relationship

Welcome back to my blog. September has been a challenging but fruitful month for me. Having taken the month off, I started on a few project ideas which I hope to share in future posts. I also attended some events and took a break from work. This post is about one of those events. The reason for sharing this event is about the content of my presentation at this event. I hope that it will benefit people reading this blog.

The Scottish Parliament has this Cross Party Group (CPG) that meets on a quarterly basis to discuss different topics. This September is about the intersection of autism and ethnic minorities. I was invited by the Scottish Ethnic Minority Autistics (SEMA – their website linked here.) to do a presentation on the topic of Nature and Autistic relationship.

Below you can find the video that I recorded on the topic and the slides for the presentation. My presentation covers the theme of this blog – we need to have an anti-exploitative mindset when interacting with Nature. That instead we need to build a society where all can fulfill their purpose.

Video of my presentation – 12.5 minutes

And below is the slides of the presentation.
